SWEPT AWAY received a surge ticket sales following the previous announcement of its closing. Due to the increased ticket sales, the production, which was previously set to close on December 15, has extended to December 29

This week, 36 shows played on Broadway, with 314,951 tickets sold and a total gross of $43,720,381. The average ticket price was $138.82.

This was less than the number of shows as last week. Compared to last week, attendance was up 1.66%. On the sales front, overall grosses were up 4.04% vs. last week. This week's average ticket price of $138.82 is up $3.18 compared to last week.
