I've seen too many shows to pick just one favorite but the Encores revival of the Apple Tree was really, really special. Kristin Chenoweth in a Harnick & Bock musical?? Heaven.
What MasterVoices does is very special. The lush one-night-only production of STRIKE UP THE BAND on 10/28 revived and revised a Gershwin/Kaufman show with a full orchestra, 145-person chorus, dancers and a star-studded, superb principal cast. MasterVoices’ 2024-25 season continues next year on February 3 and 4 with Blind Injustice.
Renowned Broadway singer Bernadette Peters made a stunning return to Carnegie Hall on Monday October 27, 2024. It had been nearly 30 years since her last show there in 1997, but it was well worth the wait. The show kicked off Carnegie Hall's 2024-25 Original series which continues tomorrow night with Pink Martini on 11/1
