THE LATE AND TRULY COMMITTED FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT OF CHICAGO BLACK THEATRE AWARDS ORGANIZATION!: Frequent "Actor's Choice" Guest Actor Darryl Maximilian Robinson is the recipient of numerous theatre honors from around the country. However, some of the most significant awards recognition that he has received during his nearly 50-year-long stage career were bestowed upon him ( four nominations ) by the noted Chicago Black Theatre Alliance / Ira Aldridge Awards, Inc., a Windy City arts organization that was led for nearly 30 years by the inspired, enthusiastic, and sadly recently departed, Mr. Vincent E. Williams, whose many contributions to The Greater Chicago African-American Professional Theatre Community will not soon be forgotten.
