CYT-North Idaho is holding auditions for their second Christian Community Theater (CCT) show, where kids AND adults join together on stage to produce a musical great for all ages! For the second year, CYT will perform a summer show in addition to the 3 Broadway-style musicals they produce during the school year. CYT-North Idaho is a performing arts training program for children ages 6-18. Bye Bye Birdie was chosen for its comedic storyline (think Dick Van Dyke), memorable music, high-energy dancing and the nostalgic feel of a simpler more innocent time. Bye Bye Birdie will be at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater July 19-28.
Auditions are May 21 from 7-9 p.m. and May 22 from 4-6 p.m. Call backs will be from 7-9 on May 22. CYT, known for its large casts would like to cast a wide range of ages from 6 to 66! There are various principal roles and large choruses of children, teens and adults. The location is the CYT Campus, 2775 Howard St., Suite 7, Coeur d'Alene, ID.
