Gorilla Tango Burlesque is seeking Stage Managers to join our crew for 2-4 shows per week (Bucktown location). Stage Managers responsibilities include sending weekly performance schedule reminders to cast and crew, pre-show setup and performer oversight, act as run-crew (with performer assistance) during performances, post-show clean-up and performer oversight, and communicating with costume maintenance personnel weekly regarding show repairs and upkeep. Our SM's must be organized, responsible and prompt. All shows are 1hr long with a half-hour to 45min call time and about 1/2hr post-show for cleanup and storage. Due to the nature of our dressing space, female candidates are preferred but we will consider a male candidate with excellent references. Stage Managers are paid a percentage of ticket sales plus tips (average $10-$30/show). To apply, email kelly, kelly@gorillatango.com with cover letter and resume.
