Ross Valley Players Hold Open Auditions For Production Of

What: Ross Valley Players will hold open auditions for their sixth production of the season, The Dixie Swim Club. Actors are asked to prepare a one-two minute contemporary monologue, Non-AEA. Audition appointments required. Actor stipend provided. The Dixie Swim Club runs July 19 - August 18, 2013.
About the Play: Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge their relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's lives. The Dixie Swim Club focuses on four of these weekends and spans a period of 33 years. The Dixie Swim Club is a hilarious and touching comedy about friendships that last forever.
