Seeking FEMALE Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, and more for Empire Strikes Back Burlesque parody. Gorilla Tango Burlesque (Provacative Parody for the Discerning Nerd) is seeking female comic actresses of all shapes, sizes, and colors for The Empire Brings Sexy Back, an "Empire Strikes Back" burlesque parody told from the Empire's point of view (and the sequel to our long-running hit, "A Nude Hope"). Roles include The Imperial Officer, Boba Fett/Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Darth Vader/Wampa, C3PO, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca/Yoda. All roles are speaking roles with multiple dance numbers. Actresses must be comfortable performing burlesque striptease, but no prior burlesque experience is required to audition. Auditions will be held in one-hour blocks on Aug 6 and 7 from 6-8pm with callbacks on Aug 8. Rehearsals are 1-2 weekday evenings per week Aug 14-Nov 1. Performances are Sat. nights at 10:30pm beginning Nov 3. Performers are paid a percentage of ticket sales plus tips.
