Auditions for Appointment With A High Wire Lady at The Mix Studio Theater
Emergent Arts will hold auditions for the play Appointment With A High Wire Lady by Russell Davis, at The Mix Studio Theater, 8 N. Washington St., Ypsilanti, Michigan on March 23 at 2:30 pm and March 24 at 7 pm, with a possible backup date on March 29 at 3pm. Direction by Paul Bianchi. Non-paying.
Roles available:
Richard: a young man in trouble. 18-35 yrs. He has checked himself into a psychiatric center because he can not remember his past and he is experiencing other mental symptoms.
Louise: a young woman who visits him. 18-35 yrs. She and Richard share a past. She has come to help him remember with the hope of gaining his life back.
The role of Richard is a challenging one in that he rarely leaves his chair and the actor must convey his mental illness and symptoms. Louise has several beautifully written monologues.
Location: The Mix Studio Theater, 8 N. Washington St., Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197.
