NYC Kids RISE Presents Concert for College 2024 In celebration of Black History Month, NYC Kids RISE announces the 2024 Concert for College at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, February 7 at 7 PM. This year’s Concert for College is a community celebration to raise money for the scholarship accounts of local Queens children. The 2024 Concert for College will bring together faith, business, and community leaders and organizations, government and elected officials, school communities, and neighborhood residents to support the college and career futures of their children in a music-filled night of joy. All proceeds from this event will go to the NYC Scholarship Accounts of students at P.S. 17, P.S. 76, P.S. 111, P.S. 112, P.S. 151, P.S. 171, Growing Up Green Charter School, Our World Neighborhood Charter School, and VOICE Charter School through a donation through NYC Kids RISE. The 2024 program will feature music performances by Grammy award-winning gospel artist Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Tabernacle Choir, with additional special guests to be announced in the coming days.
