Travel to the Underworld this October with the Contemporary Theater Company's production of Eurydice. The play offers a modern reimagining of the Orpheus myth told from the heroine's point view.

A tragic accident on their wedding day separates Orpheus and Eurydice and sends the young bride to the doorstep of Hades. Here she meets the absurdly childish Lord of the Underworld, his posse of petulant stones and reunites with her father.

Eurydice shows Oct. 21, 22, 27, 28 & 29 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. at the South Kingstown High School Auditorium. This show is not affiliated with the high school drama program.
