The Last Happy Night of Your Life at The Contemporary Theater Company

Your Friends and Neighbors Present the Last Happy Night of Your Life is an original production by the CTC. A team of seven creators and thirteen performers will write, design, direct, compose and create a cabaret-style performance that highlights the importance of the local community.

Set in the very near future in which a real tomato is hard to come by, a group of locally minded artists deigns to wine, dine and entertain their friends and neighbors with local treasures and curiosities. When circumstances and authority interrupt their happy night, the group restages their cabaret to comply with official standards.
