Three days of rain at Big Idea Theatre

Perpetual drifter Walker Janeway reappears after a year’s absence to join his sister at the reading of their father Ned’s will, expecting to inherit the famed house he designed with his business partner. But when the house is left to a childhood friend instead, the apparent betrayal sparks a series of revelations that, together with Ned’s cryptic journal entries, reconfigures the trio’s interpretation of the past and their parents’ relationship. This intergenerational mystery of family dysfunction explores the fundamental difficulty in making sense of one’s origins, especially when years of damage block the view.
