During the German occupation of Paris in 1941, Pablo Picasso is interrogated by the Nazis who want to discover which of the three Picasso paintings recently confiscated from their Jewish owners are real. But when Picasso learns that his paintings will actually be destroyed as “degenerate art,” he desperately tries to save his work. A cat-and-mouse drama about art, politics, sex and truth inspired by actual events.
