Previewing from June 10 with press night on June 16 and booking until July 31, Jenny Worton's new adaptation of Through A Glass Darkly has designs by Tom Scutt, lighting by Colin Grenfell and sound and music by Dan Jones.

The Studio Theatre, announced casting its upcoming productions of American Buffalo and Legends. American Buffalo will feature Peter Allas, Jimmy Davis, and Edward Gero. Performances will take place at the Milton Theatre, May 5-June 13.

According to a report by ContactMusic.com, Vanessa Williams, current star of Broadway's Sondheim on Sondheim, has been campaigning for an Ugly Betty movie. Williams, along with co-stars America Ferrera and Ana Oritz, has been doing her best to bring the cancelled ABC show to the big screen.

Fred Schepsi's new film 'The Eye of the Storm' began production today in Melbourne, Australia. The film features Tony Award winner Geoffrey Rush and stage and screen star Judy Davis.

Alan Alda is set to moderate the discussion with playwright David Henry Hwang, physicist Brian Greene, and filmmakers and visual artists Al and Al. The discussion will explore the creative process behind a brand-new performance inspired by Greene's moving futuristic reimagining of the Icarus fable, entitled ICARUS AT THE EDGE OF TIME. According to Variety, the fifth annual A Fine Romance benefit will be presented by the Motion Picture & Television Fund on May 1. The event will be hosted by Hugh Jackman at the Fox Lot and will feature the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Adam Shankman will direct, with musical direction by John Mauceri.

The York Shakespeare Company will present Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, directed by Seth Duerr. The artistic talent of Mercer County Community College's Visual Arts students will be beautifully showcased in this year's 'MCCC Visual Arts Students Exhibition,' on display from Tuesday, April 27 to Thursday, May 13. Village Theatre has announced casting for their production of the tap dancing spectacular 42ND STREET, directed by Steve Tomkins. According to EW.om, stage and screen star F. Murray Abraham will guest star in the season finale of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The episode is set to air in July with Abraham playing the father of Jeff Goldblum's character.
